The Finnish Yearbook of Population Research is a scientific yearbook in English that is published by The Population Research Institute of Väestöliitto in collaboration with The Finnish Demographic Society and Institute of Migration.
Call for papers 2012
The articles in the Finnish Yearbook of Population Research represent different fields of population studies (fertility, mortality, migration, family and population structure). The submitted articles are peer-reviewed. On the basis of referees´ reviews, the Advisory Board of the Yearbook makes the final decision on articles to be accepted for publication. The journal also contains updated population data on Finland and a bibliography of Finnish population studies.
Copies of the Finnish Yearbook of Population Research and its supplement publications (academic dissertations) can be ordered from Väestöliitto. Publications for the years 2000–2010 are also available in pdf format and can be downloaded free of charge.
The Finnish Yearbook of Population Research has an extensive exchange network and is distributed by means of publication exchange and sales to university departments and libraries as well as central research institutes and other organizations in Finland and other countries.
