About this blog

This is the blog of 'Chiara Lombardini-Riipinen'{http://www.mm.helsinki.fi/mmtal/ye/chiaraindex.html}. I am a lecturer in Environmental Economics at the 'Department of Economics and Management'{http://www.mm.helsinki.fi/mmtal/ye/research/} of the University of Helsinki. In economics greater attention is being paid to the psychological as well as neurological foundations of economic behavior as well as to the contributions from other social sciences. The purpose of this blog is to present to my students some good examples of such interdisciplinary approaches to the analysis of economic phenomena. In addition to the theme of interdisciplinary approaches to the understanding of economic behavior, my posts will concentrate on ways to improve and develop the university teaching of economics. Welcome to my blog.

    Chiara,

Nice blog. I just added "Endogenous preferences" to my Env. Econ blog links at Ecological Economics. I'm too busy doing "whatever" to effectively run a blog on Environmental or Ecological Economics, but when the Env. Econ. blog folks started blogging and attracting a bunch of attention I figured it was time to start a competitor blog. Unfortunately, as is my plight in life, the folks I tried to recruit as contributors haven't yet contributed much (with two exceptions). Oh well. Thanks for linking to EE. Consider this an open invitation to be a contributor to EE, if ever you decided that some of your posts need further distribution.. dave

    Great blog, Chiara!

If the economics don't work, recycling efforts won't either. As our little contribution to make this economics of recycling more appealing, http://LivePaths.com blogs about people and companies that make money selling recycled or reused items, provide green services or help us reduce our dependency on non renewable resources. PS How can I get a link back to your blog?

    Luis
